The DBL system is a safety device which, when properly mounted on the motorcycle, activates a flashing stop light, warning following vehicles of intense and sudden braking.
The DBL is activated as soon as the rider brakes suddenly and continues to work for the next 4.5s even with less deceleration. The device will not operate at speeds under 40 km/h. Flashing frequency 4 Hz.
The DBL can be connected to the bike’s rear light, or to our multi-functional indicators: FR125/FR155/FR165. The DBL is an accelerometer and consequently doesn’t require any connection to the brake hydraulic system.
