Wave® Discs
Front wave discs have high carbon content stainless steel rotors and alloy carriers, which are finished with an anodised black finish or for many applications an optional chromed alloy carrier is also available. Rear wave discs are of a solid design.
Wave® discs are a direct bolt on replacement for original discs, offering several benefits over conventional designs.
- High carbon steel rotors offer superior friction properties.
- Significantly lighter than standard discs therefore reducing unsprung weight and gyroscopic effect (bike will accelerate, brake and turn quicker).
- Wave® design offers a self-cleaning action to remove grime and water as it turns.
- The Wave® shape allows expansion and contraction with less tendency to warp.
- The shape of the rotor dissipates heat and cools as it rotates, meaning a lower running temperature of the whole brake system.
- A highly technical look is achieved.
Pads
Galfer pads are available in various different compounds and are perfectly matched to suit their own or other manufacturers rotors – a full manufacturers warranty will apply when Galfer discs and pads are used together.

Speed Kits (Front or Full Bike)
Front Speed kits are a boxed kit comprising of a complete set of front discs and pads. By buying as a boxed kit together, a saving can be made over the separate prices.
Brake Braided Steel Brake Lines
Galfer’s range of brake line kits are made with Dupont Braided Steel and are PTFE 62 Teflon coated to prevent scratches and protect the fluid from humidity. With nickel-plated ends for street use, the line kits come with banjo bolts and washers and are pre-formed and pre-packaged to suit most popular models. The Teflon coated lines are supplied in the standard colour choice of black. A full range of matching rear brake lines to accompany the fronts is also available.
