How to apply for finance
Firstly, add your chosen items to your basket as normal. When you proceed to the checkout simply select to pay by finance from the payment methods shown. You will then be redirected to the Klarna Retail website to complete your finance application.
Klarna will conduct the necessary credit checks and references in order to confirm your eligibility for the credit application.
The paperless application takes around 5 minutes to complete and you will be given an instant decision.
Finance Criteria
To apply for finance you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be over 18 years of age.
- You must be a UK resident with at least 3 years continual address history.
- You must be in full time employment, unless retired or a house person with a spouse in full time.
- You must have UK bank account capable of accepting Direct Debits.
- The goods must be delivered to your home address.

Q. How much can I borrow?
A. When checking out, just fill out our easy online application form and you can be approved for up to £12,000 to use for the products you wish to purchase. Use our calculator to determine how much you can spend based on your monthly payments. The minimum you can borrow is £500.
Q. Is a deposit required?
A. Yes. A minimum 10% deposit is payable upon acceptance. You can also choose to pay up to a 30% deposit in order to reduce your monthly payments.
Q. How are my monthly payments paid?
A. All monthly payments are paid by direct debit from your personal bank account. Typically the first payment will be due one month after the date of the finance agreement and subsequent monthly payments will be due every month for the length of your term on that day of the month.
Q. What length of repayment is available?
A. You can choose a 6, 9, 10 or 12 month loan repayment period.
Q. Can I pay my agreement off early?
A. You have the right to repay all or part of the credit early at any time. Simply contact Klarna Retail Finance and they will calculate and send you your settlement figure. Your settlement figure and date are calculated in line with the Consumer Credit Act.
Q. Are There Any Other Charges?
A. If you fail to pay any amount you owe under the Credit Agreement by the date it is due, Klarna Retail Finance may charge you interest on that amount, they may also levy additional fees – details of these can be found in your credit agreement.
